Matchless G3LC by Ted Bunday
From the UK Vintagebike website, this neat as a pin 1957 Matchless G3Ls rebuilt in the style of a G3LC from Ted Bunday.
"I had a frame, at set of crank cases and a Green log book, all the rest came off ebay from one source or another including the wheels and tyres, rear "Jampots" refurbished as were the "Teledraulic" forks using parts obtained from AJS club. I made many bits in my garage including all stainless steel fasteners, seat etc"
Is that horn strictly 'period' though ?

The ex-Steve Mcqueen, Bud Ekins modified, Von Dutch painted 1963 Triumph Bonneville Desert Sled
Bud Ekins built this bike for Steve McQueen primarily for desert racing. Serial numbers indicate it was built up from a 1963 Triumph Bonneville. Steve and Bud’s friend, Kenny Howard, better known as Von Dutch, painted the bike. Because of the motorcycle’s intended use, it was given a plain paint job, devoid of Dutch’s trademark pin stripes. No sense having beautiful striping sandblasted by full throttle desert runs, or scraped off in a fall. The bike comes with a 1971 title to Solar Productions, McQueen’s production company that made among other movies, the racing classic, Le Mans. The title bears Steve McQueen’s signature.
